EFIB NEWSLETTER APRIL 2021 Special Earth day

This year, despite the situation that we continue to share, we are in luck. The European Federation of Soil and water Bioengineering celebrates 25 years :We want to celebrate this very important anniversary, reinforcing and reissuing our commitment to the planet and its
current challenges, in a special way with the necessary restoration and recovery of our ecosystems through this discipline so exciting, Soil and Water Bioengineering. Authentic NATURE-BASED SOLUTION, in which plants become our living material for construction and regeneration.
We are preparing various activities for our anniversary: .we are active collaborators in in several international events such as SBEE (Bern), Lasosu (China) SERE (Alicante) AND AEP-EFLA (Granada), We plan to organize webinars and meetings in each country and we hope to be able to meet again in one excursion to visit works in Spain and France at october. Enjoy our News.

International Forum on Land Degradation, Soil Conservation and Sustainable Development, 2021 (LASOSU2021)

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The goals call for a deep international collaboration for the understanding of the main global problems and the search of strategic solutions, giving great importance to environmental questions. In this regard, severe soil degradation (e.g. soil erosion) has become one of the most critical phenomena affecting the Earth’s surface. The International Forum on Land Degradation, Soil Conservation and Sustainable Development, 2021 (LASOSU2021) will be held on 21-23 August 2021, in Dalian, China, to provide an avenue for scientists to discuss pressing issues on soil loss facing our profession and society.

European Green Deal Call

·       applicazioni pilota, progetti dimostrativi e prodotti innovativi;
·       innovazioni per una migliore governance della transizione verde e digitale;
